biography

original members of the Boston Area thrash grunge band Autumn's Dusk (2003), drummer Nick Benton and Alex Janczurewicz Parted Ways with singer J**N O'*****l. Two months later 2nd guitar player Luke Anderson (1 of the more talented guitarists in the area) was recruted. Pat Madigan, a former member of the alt. band Frayed had a job at a gas station which later was by chance also the place of employment of Alex.

             Names were thrown around , strange silence refering to bad family relationships later became the silence. Most agreed the name although  an ironic one, embodied the idea behind the music ; it had meaning.

             Tired of hearing the same old shit. Most of the first material was written over a very long period of time. Heavier and faster than most new bands of the time, the sound was simple and unpolished, loud and Raw, trick guitar riffs with death metal drum patterns and poetic lyrics.

               It  came to a slow start, this playing style resulted in alot of put-off practices. Plagued by broken strings, sticks, cymbals, drum heads, guitars, and mics, as well as Pats college and two jobs and Alexs job. Free time was hard to come by for full band practices so alot of material was written alone by Luke and Alex. Titled "the last dying wish" was a group of songs finished by Luke and Alex then played with Nick.

Pats never played with us in full band but alex has played with him and he has all the lyrics and tabs and shit.

so i assune he's our singer ..  i think.  and we'll start playing again december 17
